The Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island was AMAZING!!  They upgraded us to the O’hana Suite and really treated us like royalty.  Justin at the front desk was a great help.  I wrote a note to the GM referencing his excellent service.

Thank you again,

Brent & Leah M.

Four Seasons Hualalai poolTravel Gal Note: The Four Seasons Hualalai is easily one of the worlds finest resorts, Hualalai sits on a white sand beach (which is hard to come by on the Big Island of Hawaii).

One of my favorite features is the Kings pond, which is a swimming pool full of tropical fish.  King’s Pond, a 1.8-million gallon “aquarium” carved out of the natural lava rock. With over 3,000 tropical fish from more than 75 species swimming freely (including a spotted eagle ray) this is certainly the most colorful pool anywhere.  It’s also a perfect location to try snorkeling or scuba diving for the first time!

In addition to renowned service, guests enjoy amazing spa treatments, a private golf course, a rock-climbing wall, tennis, boating, as well as 5 swimming pools.  There is an onsite store, so there is no reason to even leave the resort!

The resort is a collection of 36 two-story bungalows and is frequented by business travelers, celebrating couples, and relaxing families. Open-air dining and Polynesian-style decor throughout this 5 star resort. Although recreational and cultural offerings abound, the pace is unhurried and the setting feels remote.

Four Seasons Hualalai is the perfect romantic retreat, whether you bring the kids or not as they have an excellent childrens’ program (as Brent will attest to as he brought his 2 children under the age of 5 yrs.). Hualalai embraces the aloha spirit where you will be able to unwind, recharge and reconnect in paradise.
