Air New Zealand slashes fares to the Cook Islands from $698 per person based on double occupancy.

Air New Zealand has reduced airfares from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Rarotonga. Fares from Los Angeles start at $698/person in economy class and $1930/person in Business Class. Fares are valid for sale until Jun 30, 2009 for travel May 31, 2009 through August 30, 2009.
