Royal Davui Resort was First Class!

Hi Teresa:
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. As for Royal Davui, Marisa and I had a wonderful time. The accommodations were first class, and the food was wonderful! We never had a problem with eating at the same place day after day. 
Marisa and I did probably most of the available activities on and off the island.
All were very good, but we probably enjoyed the whitewater rafting the most because we were able to see a side of Fiji that you can’t see from the barrier islands. We did, however, grow a bit tired at the end of the trip of having to drive back and forth on the boat. It was mostly because we had a strong Southerly wind for most of the trip and fairly bumpy seas.
They didn’t have our accommodations right when we got there because they put us on the shady side (i.e., the South side) of the island. They were, however, able to move us to the West side after 2 nights. So it wasn’t a big deal. The weather was good for most of the trip. It did, however, rain all day on our last full day at Royal Davui. It was also raining the day we left, so we left Davui on the early helicopter to beat the weather. We got a day room at the Hilton just outside of Nadi, so it worked out just fine.
We were really happy that we saw the East side of Fiji. What a difference from the West side. I’ve attached a picture of Marisa and I from one of the dinners on our trip. This is from the dinner when we ate the fish that we had caught earlier in the day.
Thanks again for all of your help with another fabulous trip. I’m sure that we’ll be in touch when we start planning our annual trip for ‘09.

We are back and all we can say is wow!!! Turtle Island exceeded our expectations. Jeannie couldnt stop crying Saturday when we had to bid farewell to the staff. I cant think of one way the people of Fiji can improve on this experience. It was truly wonderful and I thank you for all that you did to make it possible.

We had the absolute best honeymoon we could have imagined in Fiji. It was just amazing! The people there were the nicest, most welcoming people we have ever met. There was so much to do and nothing to do all at the same time. We did kayak and snorkel, as well as mountain bike, fish, dig for clams, and horseback ride. Those activities all occured in between long sessions of laying on the beach, in a hammock, or on our beautiful daybed. The food, weather, activities, serenity, and people were all phenomenal. I attached a couple of pix of the trip. Thanks again and we will definitley keep you in mind for our next vacation!

Bula Bula, Teresa!
Thank you so much for the massages, we absolutely loved them. That was the perfect honeymoon, thank you again, we absolutely loved every minute of it. We did just about everything you could do out there. We went on the waterfall hikes, the village tours, snorkeling, scuba diving, the honeymoon beach, and a lot of relaxing in the sun. It was fantastic……We did drink some Kava, not too bad. One of the best parts of the trip was the staff, they were just unbelievable, I know now why they were voted the “Friendliest people in the World”. Again, thank you so much and we will definitely keep you in mind when we go on our next island vacation. I am also trying to get a employee of mine to call you and have them look at Qamea for their honeymoon. Talk to you soon, Trey

Just a quick note to thank you for picking Qamea for our latest vacation. A place we will definitely return to in the near future. Everything was fabulous, the staff, food, accommodations and the diving. Linda had massages every day.
